Hello! I'm Rich...
As the lead photographer behind Gold & Elm Weddings, I capture moments and experiences with meaning and emotion. I’m not about staged moments or capturing people with their camera personas on as soon as they see my camera. I want couples to look back at their photos and remember what they were thinking and how they were feeling.
about me
Before I started photography in a professional capacity, I worked as a palliative care nurse, offering emotional support and providing relief for my patients. In both my career as a nurse and now as a photographer, I have experienced the biggest moments of people’s lives, and it’s an honor to be there for them.
When I’m not behind the camera, I can be found chasing my baby twins around the house! Me and my wife are extremely blessed to have them in our lives, and becoming a dad has been a surreal and beautiful experience.

I believe the most authentic moments are the most precious. My style revolves around capturing traditional poses with a focus on genuine expressions and being in the moment. I’m here to provide guidance when needed and create an environment where you can relax, be yourselves, and forget about the camera. Rather than rigid posing, my goal is to capture the natural interactions between you, using candid prompts, creating a more relaxed and natural feel.
